Employer Nomination Scheme — Subclass 186
Subclass 186 is a permanent visa for skilled workers who are nominated by an approved Australian employer. It has different streams depending on the worker's background and relationship with the employer.

Temporary Residence Transition stream
For workers who have been employed by the nominating employer on a Subclass 482 (or a qualifying legacy visa) for the required period and in the same occupation.
Direct Entry stream
For skilled workers being directly nominated by an employer who meet the skills assessment, English, and experience requirements without prior Australian work with that specific employer.
Labour Agreement stream
For workers being sponsored under a negotiated labour agreement between an employer and the Australian Government.
