Atlantic Immigration Program
The Atlantic Immigration Program supports qualifying workers and graduates who have a job offer from a designated employer in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador. Employer designation and provincial endorsement are important parts of the process.

How it works
The employer must first be designated through the provincial government. The employer then recruits and offers a qualifying job. The candidate receives provincial endorsement and then applies to IRCC for permanent residence. The three stages — employer designation, endorsement, and federal permanent residence — are distinct.
Who can apply
Skilled workers in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupations, or certain TEER 4 healthcare occupations, with qualifying Atlantic job offers. Eligible international graduates from Atlantic institutions may also qualify under the International Graduate stream.
Settlement plan requirement
Candidates must submit a settlement plan and complete pre-landing settlement services before submitting their permanent residence application.
