CAS requirement
Every Student visa application requires a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies issued by the licensed student sponsor institution. The CAS contains a unique reference number and details of the course.
Financial evidence
Applicants must show they can cover the first nine months of living costs and any outstanding tuition fees. The amount varies by whether the study is in London or outside London.
Graduate visa
After completing a qualifying degree, Student visa holders can apply for the Graduate visa to remain and work in the UK. Duration is two years for most (18 months from January 2027) and three years for doctoral graduates.
