UK Graduate Visa
The Graduate route allows eligible graduates to remain in the UK after completing qualifying study. It is temporary and cannot itself be extended.

Duration
Most graduates receive two years (changing to 18 months from January 1, 2027). Doctoral graduates receive three years. The visa cannot be extended.
Work rights
Graduate visa holders can work in almost any role at any skill level. There are no restrictions on occupation code or salary.
Path to another visa
Many Graduate visa holders use the time to find qualifying employment and switch to Skilled Worker before the Graduate visa expires.
