The employer must hold a Sponsor Licence and issue a Certificate of Sponsorship before the worker applies. The CoS contains the job details, salary, and occupation code.
Salary requirements
Applicants must meet both the general salary threshold and the going rate for the specific occupation code. Where these differ, the higher figure applies.
Settlement pathway
Skilled Worker visa holders can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain after five continuous years in the UK.
